Love or Friendship
I tried to reassure Uncle Mac that there’s nothing going on between Maxie and Spinelli, but he’s still not convinced. He’s concerned for Maxie’s safety, and he doesn’t want to lose her like he did Georgie. Maxie told me that she and Spinelli are just friends, but I think their relationship is developing into something more. Of course, I didn’t tell Uncle Mac about my theory because he would’ve gone off the rails. I love Uncle Mac dearly, but he does have a tendency to overreact. Besides, Maxie could do a whole lot worse than fall in love with Spinelli.

I totally agree with you. Spinelli is harmless. I think Jason is great, too. Crazy, in spite of Jason's profession, I just can't think of him as being a bad guy. I know the wind was knocked out of Spinelli yesterday, but I think he will get his confidence back.

I couldn't agree more about Maxie and Spinelli. There is something going on there. Maxie's in denial big time.

You just couldn't be more right. Nice to see you with the fam.

Maxie and Spinelli are very good friends and he does sincerely care about her. I don't think he would ever hurt her at all. Mac loves his girls and will always worry over you and Maxie, and I think that's great. Losing Georgie was so devastating for your family and it's good to see Maxie involved with someone as nice and sweet as Spinelli. You are so right, Maxie could do a lot worse. I think Spinelli is a nice choice for her.

I think you are right about Maxie and Spinelli. He is so cute and really cares about Maxie. This would be so good for both of them if they could get together. It is best if a relationship starts off as friends then turns into more. They are really cute together.

I love the relationship you have with Uncle Mac and Maxie. Family is so important, especially now with a baby on the way and I am glad that you have the best family support in Uncle Mac and Maxie. Maxie is very lucky to have you to confide in. You are like a big sister to her and it is great.

I think Mac should chill. Spinelli is a good and nice guy.

I totally agree. Spinelli might be a little strange and awkward, but he's still a nice guy... better than the rest of the losers who Maxie has been with. She can, and has, done a lot worse than him. Maybe you can give her the nudge she needs to go in the right direction.

Mac can't help but be overprotective, it's part of being a good dad. Maxie is his little girl and he's had a lot of heartache. There's Georgie's death, which will always linger in Mac's mind and heart. You are right about one thing: Spinelli IS good for Maxie. Spinelli would bring back some much needed fun and excitement in Maxie's life.

I just love the connection that Maxie has with Spinelli. They are really great together. I used to hate Maxie before with Lucky, the drugs etc. but now I just love watching her and Lulu throw punches at each other.

Robin, if I were you, I butt out of it. Let your Uncle Mac deal with Maxie and Spinelli. You don't need to be caught in the middle of this. After all, you have a baby to think about.

Hasn't Uncle Mac been a blessing for you, Maxie and Georgie? He's just reacting like a dad. So glad you and Maxie realize that trait in him. Speaking of parenting, I realized that you and Patrick share the fact that your parents were almost non-existent in your formative years. What a blessing it is that the two of you have been given the opportunity to learn from your parents' mistakes and be better and great parents to your precious baby.

I won't be full-force behind Maxie being with Spinelli until he is out of Jason's penthouse and Jason's life - out of the mob. After that, if Spinelli stops referring to himself in the third person, I'll consider it. Mac doesn't overreact as much as you think he does. He might be the only one with any sense in the family right now.

I really don't think Mac has anything to worry about! I think she is going to end up keeping Spinelli as a friend rather than moving into a relationship with him. I would put caution on her with regards to Johnny because you never know what can happen. I have no idea what Mac would do since he doesn't have Georgie anymore, and heaven forbid something happens to Maxie. I know in good time, you and Uncle Mac will be able to shine some light on her!

Spinelli is a good guy. You shouldn't be giving him such a hard time. At least he is trying to have a love life. He is just shy about it. I think they would be a great couple together.
